The Galli theatre in Freiburg opened for the first time in 1989.  Since the mid-nineties, theatres have been popping up in different cities in Germany.  Central to the activities: the dramatic and the theatre-educational work of Johannes Galli.

In the field of children's theater, the Grimm fairy tales as well as clown plays are produced. Fairy tales, myths, the clown and the relationship between man and woman are the bases of the theatre productions for adults, all original pieces from the pen of Johannes Galli.
